Omsi 2 chicago bus mods4/6/2024 While am aware that this DLC is an older one which may affect how the game runs on newer computers, because of this problem, I cannot fully recommend this DLC to people.ĭieses Addon ist vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut unschlagbar. If the developers can help update this slightly and potentially sort out these issues, then it would be better. This issue does not happen on the original OMSI 2 maps and only occurs on the Chicago DLC. It is a shame to see as I really enjoyed this DLC but had to refund it. Despite attempting to troubleshoot and doing everything I could, the game still froze either way. However, the downside of this is that within 15 to 20 minutes of playing on the Chicago map, error messages would start to appear with long chains of numbers or messages from OMSI would show saying that there isn't enough memory to perform this action which was completely false as my computer has more than enough RAM for this game. Being from North America, I personally enjoyed seeing an English-speaking map with familiar buses. The addon is a very nice representation.I really enjoyed this DLC because it is different from the original OMSI 2 maps. I've checked on Google maps along with youtube videos showing real footage of the X10 lines. I know these routes like the back of my hand, you would think I've been to Berlin. The addon comes with the yellow Double Decker DL05 bus which is also nice. All of the routes are a pleasure to drive, especially for a beginner with different environments from long and wide streets along Clayallee to cramp residential streets in Zehlendorf (115 line). There are 2 variations of the X10 route that split off once you get into Teltow with different termini, S Bahnhof Teltow Stadt and Ramrath Brucke.Īpart from the advertised X10 line, you also get full driveable 115 line (about 40 minutes 1-way), 625 (30 minutes) and 626 (25 mintes or so). It has the main X10 express route from the Zoological Gardens to Teltow in Brandenburg. I would definitely go with Berlin X10 as your first addon. If you read the reviews, there are plenty of negative feedback. Metropole Ruhr and the other addon Project Gladbeck have many lines but it's quantity over quality (details). (But I do recommend the NVIDIA/AMD part of the tutorial, as it will provide Antialiasing, FXAA and so to the game). Keep in mind that Omsi is not a great game in performance, so if I were you I'd keep it stock unless you have a very very very nice PC and a lot of RAM as Omsi does require a lot to run fine. This guide will help you with graphics mods, and some nice maps to download -> There are a lot of good mods out there, but keep in mind that they require DLCs to work (some not, but maps mods require them because they use resources such as textures from DLCs, some buses do not require DLCs but some do, it all depends).Ĥ. There aren't any "best mods websites", at least in my opinion as there are a lot of good forums (you surely have forums from your country) but I'd say that best modders are either german, polish or czechs (their mods have usually pretty good quality).ģ. Remember to learn first the basics on Berlin-Spandau or Grundorf, as it is a really hard game at first and playing complex maps do not help at all in your learning curve.Ģ. For a new player, I'd recommend buying Berlin X10, has it has a lot of lines to play with and a lot of hours to spend on it, Hamburg is a really good one too in my opinion. To be honest, I haven't got any DLCs on Steam, but I have tried some of them.
